Employees came together again to lend a helping hand

For the second time in 2010 St. Anne’s Credit Union employees came together to lend a helping hand at the Sacred Heart Parish Soup Kitchen of Fall River. Liz Carreiro, President Avenue Branch Manager, an active parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, coordinated the event, which took place on Monday, June 14, 2010. Employees were asked to either volunteer their time to help serve food or hand out non-perishable items at the food pantry. Mrs. Carreiro along with St. Anne’s Credit Union Board of Director Colleen Brady-O’Neil and 11 other SACU employees served a healthy meal to approximately 175 people at the Sacred Heart location.

St. Anne’s employees plan to volunteer their time at the Sacred Heart location again in September and December of 2010.
