Assistant Vice President (AVP) Branch Manager
The AVP Branch Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the branch team. They oversee the provision of a full range of services for members and prospective members in addition to training, directing and supervising the branch staff. The branch manager is accountable for maximizing sales and member satisfaction, minimizing operational losses, deepening member relationships and minimizing member attrition. The manager also ensures that all established policies and procedures are followed. In addition, they execute business development activities to ensure sustained growth of the branch, and they seek out new members and business opportunities.
ESSENTIAL BRANCH MANAGEMENT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Exercise supervision over branch personnel
- Acquire new members, deepen existing member relationships and minimize attrition of existing member’s relationships.
- Attend to the daily needs of staff, members and prospective members
- Open IRA certificates of deposit and process member IRA transactions including but not limited to contributions, distributions, transfers, rollovers and changes of beneficiaries
- Process loan requests and answer credit inquiries
- Assume responsibility for teller system, and interface with Main Office and vendor as needed to maintain the system
- Monitor large cash deposits and withdrawals, and complete and forward the Large Currency Transaction Report to Branch Administration
- Advise and explain the risk associated with large cash withdrawals, emphasizing safety and security of the member and their funds. Explain about possible fraudulent activity and scams involving cash withdrawals
- Ensure that daily proofs are done as required and oversee accountability for the handling of cash. Assist in resolving balancing problems. Make sure monthly reports and audits are done as per procedures, and inform Senior Management of trends in their market area
- Review and approve all branch cash orders to ensure compliance with set branch limits
- Oversee the facilities and equipment of the branch office to ensure the branch is always functioning at its best and is professional in its appearance. Place service calls to maintain and repair equipment as necessary
- Exercise administrative and operational control over the office including interpreting Credit Union policy and maintaining security and customer service levels efficiently and profitably
- Represent the Credit Union in the community and actively promote additional business
- Conduct a monthly staff meeting for branch personnel and an annual training session on security. Attend management meetings and functions as required by Senior Management
- Open and close branch daily or assign this responsibility to others
- Respond to Police/Alarm calls after hours. Respond to branch problems/emergencies
- Approve all expenses incurred by the branch and forward to Senior Vice President (SVP), Branch Administration for final approval
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DUTIES included but not limited to:
- Actively build new relationships within the market through outreach and networking
- Seek business opportunities at prospective establishments in the community
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing business relationships for further growth and profitability
- Actively participate in community events to promote the Credit Union
- Work with internal departments to create new business products and update existing ones
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Under the direct supervision of the SVP, Branch Administration.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of three (3) years as an Assistant or a Branch Manager preferred. Must be working on Management Development Program as identified by Senior Management.
REQUIREMENT: Establishing and Maintaining Registration through NMLS according to the SAFE ACT is a requirement of this position at St. Anne’s Credit Union. Any failure to do so may result in the immediate termination of employment.

Commercial Loan Officer
St. Anne's Credit Union is currently looking to add Commercial Loan Officers to our successful lending team.
FUNCTION: The Commercial Loan Officer is responsible for developing and maintaining quality and profitable relationships with small to mid-sized enterprises, organizations, or individuals as their financial advisor for the full array of products and services made available by the Credit Union and tailored to the Members’ defined strategic objectives. The Commercial Loan Officer develops a variety of product/service revenue opportunities through strategic relationships with accountants, attorneys, key stakeholders, and other qualified sources of business referrals, the effective management of current Member portfolio, and actively promoting referrals to other areas of the Credit Union. The Commercial Loan Officer must also be able to structure and negotiate commercial loan transactions, prepare written presentations of proposed transactions and assist with loan underwriting processes. Other general responsibilities include the timely collection of appropriate Member and transaction information, and ability to monitor the performance of existing relationships in the portfolio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Primary duty is to generate new business and retain loyal, profitable relationships for the Credit Union by providing valuable information and services to Members, and by establishing new profitable relationships that leverage all of the Credit Union’s resources
- Actively identifies business needs and corresponding revenue opportunities and actively promotes ways to increase Members’ reliance on Credit Union’s products and services
- Consistently performs business development activities to promote the Credit Union’s Commercial Lending services as well as all other Credit Union resources, such as residential loans, consumer loans, cash management services and deposit products

Banking Associates
St. Anne's Credit Union has full time and part time Banking Associate positions available at our branch locations.
FUNCTION: Responsible for assisting new and existing members with various financial needs including teller transactions, new accounts, and general member services. Advise members in the determining which credit union products and services best meet their needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Greet members and respond to telephone inquiries regarding information concerning credit union products and services in accordance with all regulations and credit union policies and procedures.
- Serve members at teller window/station.
- Assist members in opening new accounts such as savings, checking, money market, and certificates of deposit. Obtain proper documentation necessary for opening such accounts. Complete online banking registration and e-statement registration with members at account opening.
- Handle member inquiries/issues regarding all deposit accounts, including but not limited to processing check orders and reorders, assisting in direct deposit of funds, lost passbooks, fraudulent account activity, and online/ mobile banking issues.
- Order and maintain debit cards for new and existing members (including the actual production of the debit cards if working in branches where production takes place).
- Perform maintenance on all existing member accounts and relationships regarding changes of address and/or information. Obtain supporting documentation.
- Renew, maintain, and redeem certificates of deposit and complete applicable documentation.

Assistant Branch Manager

FUNCTION: In conjunction with the Branch Manager is responsible for the oversight of all daily branch operations, ensuring all established policies, procedures and regulations are being adhered to. Will assume full responsibility for the branch in the absence of the branch manager. Provides leadership, training, coaching and guidance to all banking associates. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Exercise supervision over branch personnel:
- Ensure the branch is open and ready to conduct business each business day.
- Assist in supervising, directing and controlling the day to day activities of the branch.
- Provide leadership and supervision to the branch team. Train staff to Banking and Senior Banking Associate positions.

- Handle a wide variety of member problems either through direct contact or referral to proper department. In absence of Branch Manager, exercise administrative and operational control over the office including interpreting credit union policy and maintaining security and customer service levels.
- Maintain appropriate security controls to protect the facility against criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure.
- Perform the monthly branch audit, alarm testing and outage reports.
- Must respond to police department on after-hour calls.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as required by Senior Management.
- Approve expenses incurred by the branch and forward to SVP of Branch Administration for final approval.
- Responsible for overseeing general maintenance and appearance of the branch office.

Residential Mortgage Sales Manager
St. Anne's Credit Union has an opening for a Residential Mortgage Sales Manager to focus on business development in the Boston area.
FUNCTION: Responsible for the Residential Mortgage sales activities and participates in related business activities for assigned geographic area. Manages the Mortgage Loan Officers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Responsible for residential mortgage sales activities and participates in related business development activities for assigned geographic area.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate or related field is preferred. A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience is strongly preferred in residential lending sales and sales management. Strong management and supervisory skills and experience are requirements. Skillful interpersonal relations and communication skills are essential, as is a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of residential mortgage and secondary market products and services. Strong analytical skills and hands-on knowledge of Ellie Mae’s Encompass are strongly preferred. Demonstrated capacity to cultivate referral networks to increase lead generation is important as is the ability to recruit and train top notch Mortgage Loan Officers who share our commitment to providing superior service and value to our Members.
