ZELLE®

Zelle is a fast, safe, and easy way to send money directly between almost any bank account in the U.S., typically within minutes¹. With just an email address or U.S. mobile phone number, you can send money to people you trust, regardless of where they bank² using your Mobile Banking App or Online Banking Account.

 

Online Banking, Bill Payment & External Transfers - Free

The ultimate banking convenience: log on to Online Banking and view your accounts, transfer funds (even from outside of St. Anne’s!), pay bills, and see which checks have cleared - from home, work, or on the road, at your convenience!

With Mobile Deposit 3, you can also safely deposit a check into your account by snapping pictures using your smartphone. Text Message Banking - Free

Need up-to-the-minute account info in seconds? Get the answers you need, sent directly to your cell phone via text message.4

1. Log in to Online Banking
Text Message Banking is available through Online Banking. Enroll in Online Banking.

2. Activate
After logging in, go to the "Profile" menu at the top of the landing page and select either "Enroll Now" or "Manage Devices." Then follow the steps to register your mobile phone - you will receive a text containing an activation code.

3. Start Texting
Now that your phone is set up, just send a text to the number provided in your activation text with one of the following commands:
BAL = Balance
HIST + texting account nickname ex: HIST ACCT = History
ATM + street or zip = ATM Locations
STOP = to cancel SMS
HELP = for Help

Your answer will be promptly sent back to you – usually in less than 10 seconds!

 

Telephone Banking - Free

You can check balances, transfer funds, and access your account anytime, anywhere by dialing 1(800) 258-8484.

 

Direct Deposit - Free

Directly depositing your payroll check allows you quicker access to your funds and bill pay features.

  1. Transactions typically occur in minutes when the recipient's email address or U.S. mobile number is already enrolled with Zelle. It is recommended for the first instance that you perhaps send $5 (minimum Zelle requires as a payment) to make sure recipient is correct.

  2. Must have a bank account in the U.S. to use Zelle.

  3. Funds from mobile deposits are generally available for withdrawal no later than the second business day after the day of the deposit.

  4. St. Anne’s offers a free text message banking service, you may incur and are responsible for any charges assessed by your mobile provider. Contact your mobile provider for more details.

Safe Deposit Box

Safe deposit boxes provide a safe place to store your home or office valuables and come in a number of sizes to meet your requirements, available for rent in most of our branches.

 

Wire Services

Use our wire transfer service for your incoming and outgoing transfer of funds. If you are planning to make a major purchase with wired funds from your St. Anne’s Credit Union account, please speak to a representative. All transfers in excess of $10,000 must be set up in person in advance.

 

Overdraft Protection¹

To help you manage your account balances and avoid account overages, you can link accounts so funds are transferred automatically. Speak with a representative to find the solution that’s right for you.

SWEEPS²

This service links your checking account to your statement savings account to automatically “sweep” or transfer money from your savings to cover transactions presented for payment against your checking account that would otherwise have resulted in an overdrawn balance.

OVERDRAFT LINE OF CREDIT

This loan automatically advances money up to your available credit line, working seamlessly with your current St. Anne’s checking account.

OVERDRAFT PRIVILEGE³

Experience automatic convenience and peace of mind—because Overdraft Privilege automatically protects your eligible checking account products accessed by paper check or electronic means (such as Bill Pay). Overdraft Privilege covers check or ACH transactions that otherwise would be returned for insufficient or unavailable funds – and also saves you the inconvenience of any bounced checks and fees charged by merchants for checks returned to them. The best part is – you don’t even need to sign up, it’s available already to all members on all eligible account types!

OVERDRAFT PRIVILEGE PLUS²

Overdraft Privilege Plus offers all of the same benefits of our standard Overdraft Privilege program – PLUS coverage of ATM transactions and one-time debit card transactions from your checking account. You must opt-in for Overdraft Privilege Plus.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OVERDRAFT PROTECTION PLANS:

  • Should you overdraw your account, apply money back to your account as soon as possible. Remember to apply enough money back into your account to cover the overdraft and any fees.

  • Even if you have one of these plans, there is no guarantee that St. Anne’s will cover your checks, ATM withdrawals, debit cards, and other electronic transactions that overdraw your account.

  • This service is not available to all account types – please speak with a St. Anne’s representative about the choices and services that are right for you!

1. Whether or not your overdraft(s) will be paid is discretionary, and we reserve the right not to pay your overdraft(s) if your account does not meet the Credit Union’s criteria for the service as outlined in St. Anne’s Truth in Savings Disclosure. When the Credit Union pays an overdraft, you agree to bring the account to a positive balance within 35 days. Accounts with a sustained negative balance may be subject to closure and reported to consumer reporting agencies. Fees apply; see current St. Anne’s Fee Schedule. Fees charged for covering an overdraft, as well as the amount of the overdraft item(s) will be subtracted from your available Overdraft Privilege limit.
2. Subject to eligibility requirements. Fees may apply. To opt-out call 1-877-STANNES or visit any one of our branches. Keep in mind when you opt-out your insufficient funds items will be returned to the payee and/or declined at the point of purchase unless you have Overdraft Privilege and Overdraft Privilege Plus available to cover the item(s). You will be charged the standard fee for all returned items. Although standard Overdraft Privilege is automatic once you meet the criteria stated in St. Anne’s Truth In Savings Disclosure, you must opt-in to Overdraft Privilege Plus.
